Can You Hear the Wind?

The wind of My Spirit
Is calling to thee.
Can you hear the wind
That sets your soul free?

Hearken to its sound
As it passes by.
Awaken, dear soul
And hear My hearts sigh.

I’m beckoning you
Come listen, My Bride,
To what’s causing you
To cower and hide.

The folly in man
The fear he displays,
In him and by him
Consuming your days.

With man as your guide
All will soon crumble.
On God alone stand
The broken and humble.

My Spirit surrounds
All those in My care,
My wind routing out
All dark from its lair.

Refreshed and refined
By My Spirits fire,
Your soul is set free
To soar ever higher

Come rise with Me now
In freedom and power,
And soar on the wind
Of this final hour.

“But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”
– John 14:26-27
