New Dawn

A new dawn is breaking
East west south and north
The power of My love
Is calling you forth

Waken My children
Now glorious in Me
My treasure and love
For all soon to see

I’m building My church
Come yield to My hand
I’ll gently place you
Where you’re to stand

Stones are scattered
And in disarray
Give ear to Me now
I’ll show you the Way

To rebuild the wall
Repair every breach
This generation
Then higher can reach

Apostles and prophets
A foundation true
Past labors of love
All building stones too

Each generation
In turn took its place
Gemstones of beauty
By My love and grace

Your generation
United in Me
Now placed by My love
Completion will see

The power of love
Flowing from My throne
Is mortar that holds
Each stone next to stone

My faithfulness is
Your shield and rampart
Ask of Me dear ones
And I’ll guard your heart

As you follow Me
All that I have planned
Will be set in place
By My loving hand

Returning to Zion
Redeemed you’ll rejoice
And silence forever
Old Babylon’s voice

In fullness of time
By My love alone
You’ll all be in place
‘Neath Zion’s Capstone

God’s sons all revealed
The earth for to see
My bride’s face unveiled
The church One in Me

“Arise, shine, for your light has come,
and the glory of the LORD rises upon you.
See, darkness covers the earth
and thick darkness is over the peoples,
but the LORD rises upon you
and his glory appears over you.
Nations will come to your light,
and kings to the brightness of your dawn.

– Isaiah 60:1-3

As you come to him, the living Stone — rejected by men but chosen by God and precious to him — you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.
– 1 Peter 2:4-5
